About this session

Speakers from Social Work England, the National Advisory Forum and Beverley Tarka, President of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, will discuss:

  • building trust and confidence in the social work profession, and in regulation, by strengthening our relationship with the sector
  • collaborating with other sector leaders to develop a clear and shared understanding of risks to the public and agree how to manage those risks
  • the important role initial education plays in establishing a strong foundation for social work professional practice and ongoing professional development
