Social Work Week

17 to 21 March 2025

Social Work England established Social Work Week to encourage a national conversation on the complex and diverse profession of social work.

Social Work Week 2025

Social Work Week 2025 will take place from Monday 17 to Friday 21 March 2025, and will coincide with World Social Work Day on Tuesday 18 March 2025. As part of the week, Social Work England host a free programme of events for anyone with an interest in social work.

Our expressions of interest process to be part of our national programme for the week closed on 31 December 2024.

We will be publishing the full Social Work Week 2025 programme at the beginning of February 2025. People interested in attending Social Work Week 2025 can sign up to Social Work England's newsletter to hear first about the programme and when tickets will be released.
