About the session

Monday 20 March, 10am to 11am

We are privileged to launch Social Work Week 2023 with some personal experiences of social work, as members of our National Advisory Forum share what social work has meant in their lives.

The forum is a group of people with lived and learned experience of social work who provide expert advice, support and challenge to Social Work England.

Through interviews and a panel discussion, they will discuss their hopes for the future of the profession and explore why co-production is so important in regulation. This will include the impact of co-production at Social Work England and their ambitions for increasing co-production with the organisation in the future.
