Hearings and decisions

(a)       Said to Person 1 in November or December 2018 following a manager’s meeting, ‘You should see me as a General and you are my soldiers, and you should not discuss anything in the Area with other managers and you answer to me’ or words to that effect and/or

 

(b)       Said to Person 1 in November or December 2018 after she raised concerns about how uncomfortable staff felt in Area one with Person 5 ‘How dare you, I am your first port of call’ or words to that effect and/or

 

(c)        Told Person 1 in August 2018 to review all of Person 3’s cases because she ‘wasn’t good enough’ as a social worker without providing any explanation or basis and/or

 

(d)  Said to Person 1 around January 2019 when she needed to take her dog to the Vet that you had been told that Person 1’s attendance at work and attitude was poor and that she was not a team player or words to that effect and/or

 

(e)  Said to Person 1 when the incident at 1(d) arose and she had returned to work the following day, ‘that’s a dog, if it was your child, you would have left it with someone else to take care of them’ and/or

 

(f)   Communicated with the Practice Managers during your time at the Council in a snappy manner and/or

 

(g)  Communicated with Person 2 in a way that made her feel subordinate and as though you could speak to her as though she was nothing and could push her about and/or

 

(h)  Communicated with Person 2 in a manner that was aggressive when discussing a service user and when discussing whether Person 2 had viewed the service user’s Mother’s Facebook profile and/or

 

(i)    Communicated with Person 2 and other members of staff in a manner that was blunt and rude using words such as ‘you listen to me’ and/or

 

(j)    Targeted social workers that were sitting at their desks and in front of others you would

 

(i) hover and/or

(ii)  question them until they were reduced to tears. and/or

 

(k)  During your employment with the Council in the case of YP1 and Person 3 re-allocated a service user to a different social worker as Person 3 questioned decisions that you made about the case and/or

 

(l)    Said to Person 3 in 2018 ‘if you wish to progress in your career, you should learn not to challenge me’ and/or

 

(m) Ignored Person 4 more than once following a Head of Service meeting where she had interrupted you saying that an issue had already been addressed

2.1.  Your employer Medway Council were conducting a disciplinary investigation, and your duties had been restricted by taking ‘gardening leave’ on or around 28 March 2019 and/or

 

2.2. That Medway Council had reached a disciplinary finding in the case and your employment had been terminated on or around 29 November 2019.

 

2.3 Your actions at 2.1 and/or 2.2 were dishonest.
