Allegations

While registered as a social worker: 

1. On 25 January 2017 you were convicted at Wellingborough Magistrates' Court of fraud by false representation pursuant to sections 1-2 of the Fraud Act 2006, after you failed to inform the local authority of a tenancy agreement you signed in 2014, after you had declared yourself homeless in 2012 and before you had secured a council property on 8 June 2015; 

2. You failed to notify your regulator of your charge and/or conviction set out at paragraph 1 as soon as possible; 

3. Your conduct at paragraph 2 above was dishonest. 

The matters outlined in paragraph 1 amount to the statutory ground of a conviction in the United Kingdom for a criminal offence. 

The matters set out in paragraphs 2 and/ or 3 amount to the statutory ground of misconduct. 

Your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of misconduct and/or conviction in the United Kingdom for a criminal offence.
