Social Work England established Social Work Week to encourage a national conversation on the complex and diverse profession of social work.

Social Work Week 2025 will take place from Monday 17 to Friday 21 March 2025, and will coincide with World Social Work Day on Tuesday 18 March 2025.
As part of the week, Social Work England host a free programme of events for anyone with an interest in social work. We are delighted to open up our expression of interest process where you can pitch to deliver a session as part of our national programme for the week.

In its fourth year, the programme boasted the strongest line-up to date with over 20 free sessions. These sessions were co-produced by Social Work England with those working across the sector and those with lived and learned experience.
