Emina is a registered social worker and currently a team manager, overseeing work with looked after children in Surrey.
Mike is a social worker in an NHS community mental health team for homeless people, working in south London.
Tiegan is an adoptee who uses her experiences to help train, teach and provide her perspective to those working with children and young people.
Jillian is a registered social worker with a background in work with older people. She is currently taking some time out of work and is a full time carer.
Fran is a registered social worker, currently working as a hospital social worker for Wiltshire Council.
Rachael is an associate professor at the University of Nottingham, where she is the director of the Centre for Social Work.
Anne-Marie is an academic and the head of teaching and learning for social work at the University of Birmingham.
Gemma recently qualified from her Step Up programme and is now a newly qualified social worker in the Children’s Health and Disability Team with City of York Council.
Sadie is a newly qualified social worker working in an older people’s team for a local authority.
Ify is a disability awareness spokesperson and blogger who works in the higher education sector as an expert by experience.
Sally works at Birmingham City University as an expert by experience, primarily involved with the social work department across all modules.
Yaz currently works within her local authority as an expert by experience, sharing her views as a person with a physical disability.
