Reflective practice sessions

Come along and reflect on issues impacting the social work sector. You’ll be encouraged to share your thoughts with others and discuss the key themes of Social Work Week, including:

  • Looking back at 2020: what has been the defining feature of social work in 2020?
  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion: how can we promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in social work?
  • Understanding your regulator: what does regulation mean to you? What do you need to know more about?
  • The future of social work: what are your best hopes for social work this year and beyond?

The sessions will be facilitated by Social Work England’s regional engagement leads, who are registered social workers. This is a confidential space for your own reflection. We will collate some of the ideas generated, anonymously, to help influence our work over the next year.
