Jack Harrison

The regional engagement team enables us to continue to build relationships with everyone who has an interest in social work. 

Jack Harrison

Jack has held several roles in the private, voluntary and independent sectors. Jack has also worked in the areas of events and fundraising which included working as an international events manager in Tanzania for 3 months and climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for Meningitis Research Foundation.

Prior to joining Social Work England, Jack worked as a coach on an innovative employment support programme for people with physical and mental health conditions.

Jack has an undergraduate degree in Criminology & Sociology from Sheffield Hallam University and an MSc in International Social Change and Policy from the University of Sheffield. His masters included a project researching into ‘the experience of volunteers supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Sheffield’.

Outside of work Jack is passionate about live music and spending time in the outdoors. Following university, Jack took 2 years out to live, work and travel across Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
