Sadie Newton
Sadie is a social worker working within a local authority adult’s community social work team.
After completing an undergraduate degree in behavioural science, Sadie worked with children and families in school settings for 11 years.
She then graduated with an MSc in Social Work from the University of Huddersfield. She was the first student social worker to be involved in the Social Work England student shadowing programme.
Sadie is passionate about being involved in the national advisory forum and its collaborative approach. She brings the experience of being a student social worker alongside the experience of a newly qualified social worker in an assisted and supported year in employment (ASYE) role to the national advisory forum.
