Francesca Carpenter
Fran is a social worker, currently working as head of client services for the Oasis Project, a community substance misuse service for women and families in Brighton.
Fran has a masters’ degree in gender studies and is experienced in delivering gender responsive interventions within the voluntary sector.
Fran advocates for caring and reflective, trauma-informed practice that promotes the rights and needs of the families she works with. She is passionate about increasing awareness and recognition of social work in community and voluntary services.
