From business planning and project management to risk and insight, our business services directorate is the engine of the organisation.
Finance, commercial and procurement
This team manage all areas of finance, including commercial and procurement. They ensure that the wider organisation is adhering to financial guidelines and are held accountable.
Fitness to practise
From investigating concerns and making evidence-based decisions to assessing risk and developing and improving processes, our fitness to practise directorate deals with concerns raised about social workers.
Triage, fitness to practise law, data information and internal quality management are just some of the areas that our legal directorate is responsible for.
Our people team ensures we recruit multi-talented and passionate people whilst ensuring the smooth running of our HR function in-house, including the learning and development of our staff.
Registration and quality assurance
Assessing and approving social worker applications to the register, working with training providers and quality assuring education programmes are just some of the areas that our registration and quality assurance directorate is responsible for.
Strategy, policy and engagement
From policy development and consultations to communications and engagement, the standards directorate is responsible for developing and implementing social work standards and continuing the conversation, both internally and externally.
